Belgians are famously proud of their chocolate, and for good reason: It\u2019s generally high-quality and very finely ground with a high cocoa content, giving the final product a velvety texture and unbeatable flavor. We recommend making this cozy drink with a Belgian milk chocolate, but any variety you like will do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ingredients: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
– 40 cl milk<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– 170 g dark\nchocolate<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– 80 g milk\nchocolate<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– 1 teaspoon\nvanilla extract (or vanilla sugar)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Whipped\ncream<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– A pinch of\ncinnamon (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– 1\ntablespoon white sugar (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Preparation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Pour half\nof the milk and the chocolate pieces in a small saucepan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Heat the\nchocolate over medium low heat until it is melted. Don\u2019t forget to keep stirring.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Add the\nrest of the milk, the vanilla, and a little whipped cream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– If desired,\nadd cinnamon or a little white sugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Increase\nthe heat and stir vigorously to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Be careful not to\nboil the milk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– When all\nthe ingredients are well mixed, pour your chocolate into a cup and garnish with\nwhipped cream and chocolate flakes\/shavings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
